This is Rae, an English bulldog who was an amazing, beautiful lady with a sweet and lively personality. Rae passed away unexpectedly last night. Her home was the Lakeland Animal Shelter for the last three years, so she died without a real home or family of her own. We gave her all the love and companionship we could as volunteer dog walkers, but our dream of having her leave us to be in her forever home did not come true. Please, if you have room in your heart and home, consider adopting a dog or cat that has been waiting patiently in a shelter for awhile. Smiley Rae, we love you and will never forget you.❤️
