And hold you in the palm of His hand.
They sang those words last Saturday for my sister Carmen, who died November 19, 2022. She was a beautiful soul, an artist, a wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, but she was not a cancer survivor.
Of the six children in our family, Carmy was the first one to pass away. May she have risen up on eagles’ wings and been made to shine like the sun.
