Beautiful Lake Geneva was the location of the Lake Geneva Public Library’s Beachside Authorfest held Saturday, July 10, 2021. I was lucky to be included in the thirty-eight authors participating in this event sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Geneva Public Library and Breadloaf Books. My granddaughter, Olivia, was kind enough to spend the day with me, providing technological and moral support. We met wonderful people and lots of dogs and had fun talking about books, writing, publishing, and, of course, their dogs! A supply of my newest book, Build Your Wings on the Way Down, and my first book, Long Time Coming, was available as well. Looking out over Lake Geneva, talking about books and dogs, was a terrific way to spend a Saturday in Wisconsin.
